RupaJyoti Secondary School
RupaJyoti Secondary School is located in Rupa Rural Municipality, Kaski, Gandaki Zone which was established in 2037B.S. (1980A.D.) with the help of local residents, social workers . Most of them were ex-armies . They realized the needs and importance of education for their children. As a result this school was set up under a tree in the northern part of Rupa rural municipality. After sometimes the community people built a temporary rooms made by mud, stone and dry grass roof. It was established as a primary school in 2037B.S. . In 2041, the government of Nepal gave permission to run Class 1. It was upgraded primary school and in 2055, it was also upgraded lower secondary school (Class 1 to Class 8). It was upgraded to secondary school in 2069B.S. This school has been able to be a leading community school in this area. This school has playing a great role in the development of quality education . Now this school is liked by many people in this area. So, many students are now studying in this school. Many students come to this school from far away. It is one of the leading government community school. Many poor students as well as the student from the remote area are studying this school. This school provides general education for their student .
In general, we have classes from ECD
to Class 10 . Now, 200 students are studying in RupaJyoti Secondary School.
There are 17 teaching and non-teaching staffs are working in this school.

Our mission is to provide high
quality education and childcare in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment
that builds a foundation for life-long learning . We want to provide practical
education which help the students to be a professional person. Our mission
provide different knowledge which can be applied in the world market and in
daily life.
Teaching methods and Researches
We provide the quality education to
our students through a variety of teaching methods and materials both. We do
not follow lecture methods only but we also use students centered teaching
learning activities like debates, drama, discussion, project work, role
playing, and group work. We use students teacher made local teaching materials.
Attendance:
Every student of our school is
required to attend at least 90% of the total classes run in an academic year.
Evaluation and Assessment:
The
academic session is divided into four terms: Fortnightly assessments are given
to keep attract to the student's performances. We use both formative and
summative evaluation methods to ensure overall and fair judgment of the
student's.

medium classes from ECD to Class 5 for all subject except Nepali and Social and
from Class 6 to Class 10 English, Maths, Science and computer are in English
medium and other subjects are in Nepali medium.
